Protected Earthwork Sites

Remnants of a few of the many precious earthwork sites in the Hopewell Heartland are already being protected. Many of these ancient places can be visited. Sadly, it is often the case that a single mound is all that remains of a once extensive ceremonial complex. Click on the hyperlinks below to find out more about each earthwork site.
